Matthew Sturdivant, DO

Dr. Sturdivant is an Acute Care and Trauma Surgeon as well as Surgical Critical Care Intensivist at UPMC Hamot. He graduated from Gannon University with his bachelor’s degree and earned a post-baccalaureate certificate from LECOM’s Erie, PA campus. He obtained his Doctor of Osteopathic Medical degree from LECOM’s Bradenton, Florida campus. He completed an internship at Millcreek Community Hospital followed by General Surgery Residency at UPMC Horizon and UPMC Jameson. He completed his training as a Surgical Critical Care Fellow at Christiana Care Hospital. Dr. Sturdivant is board certified in General Surgery and Surgical Critical Care.

As an Erie native, he returned to serve the community he grew up in. When not at work, he enjoys spending time with his wife and three children.
