Ben Scarboro. MD

Dr. Don “Ben” Scarboro is a Surgical Critical Care Fellow at Louisiana State University, training at the only Level I Trauma Center in New Orleans. A native of Franklin, VA, he earned dual Bachelor of Science degrees in Biochemistry and Microbiology from Virginia Tech in Blacksburg, VA before attending Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA, where he also completed a Graduate Certificate in Translational Research. He subsequently completed his General Surgery residency at Carilion Clinic-Virginia Tech Carilion School of Medicine in Roanoke, VA and is board certified in General Surgery.  Outside of medicine, Dr. Scarboro enjoys spending time with his wife, Hannah, as well as golfing and traveling. Upon completion of his Surgical Critical Care fellowship in July, he will join the trauma surgery faculty at LSU in New Orleans.
