
Rommie Duckworth
Rommie Duckworth is an emergency responder, educator, and author with over thirty years of experience in fire, rescue, and EMS. A career Fire Captain and EMS Coordinator, Rom has written hundreds of articles on rescue and prehospital trauma care and contributed chapters to more than a dozen textbooks, including PHTLS.
He currently serves as the NAEMT liaison to the American College of Surgeons Committee on Trauma (ACS COT) EMS Workgroup, represents NAEMT on the national guidelines project for Traumatic Out-of-Hospital Cardiac Arrest Management , and is a member of the National EMS Quality Alliance Post-Crash Care technical expert panel. As a presenter for the McSwain Trauma Education Project (MTEP), Rom supports its mission of improving patient outcomes through high-quality trauma education.
